9,000 PSI

18V Cordless Grease Gun

DGG103

High pressure.
Grease gets through.

8,000–9,000 PSI pushes grease through high-resistance fittings and into the lubrication point — with 5-speed flow control and automatic pressure release.

The Real Cost Of Poor Lubrication

36%
of bearing failures
are linked to poor lubrication.

Poor lubrication costs more than grease — it costs machine life and uptime.

The wrong lubricant for the application
Too little grease
Too much grease
The wrong relubrication interval
Grease that never reaches the bearing — blocked piping, a fitting that will not open

Causes of poor lubrication as identified by SKF.

Wear
Friction and heat inside the bearing

Maintenance
More frequent service and part replacement

Downtime
Machines standing still, unplanned

Effective Lubrication

Grease that
actually gets in.

8,000–9,000 PSI
Grease that actually gets in.
Enough pressure to overcome resistance at a stiff fitting, so the grease reaches the lubrication point instead of stopping at the coupler.

5-Speed Flow
The right flow for the job.
Lower flow for smaller points, higher flow for larger joints — giving the operator better control while helping reduce unnecessary overflow and grease waste.

Automatic Release
Power to push. Protection when it cannot.
If a point is blocked, pressure is released automatically. The operator does not have to notice the problem first.

Coupler System
A secure connection under pressure.
Three jaws, a centre pin and a taper design, heat treated to HRC 40. Connect it, hold it, get the grease in.

What The User Actually Gains

Faster service.
Better control.

Up to +21%
Higher grease flow*
Spend less time dispensing grease at every service point.

Up to +150%
More preset flow levels*
More choices to match grease output to different joints and lubrication points.

11%
Pressure headroom
The 10,000 PSI rated hose is specified above the tool’s 9,000 PSI maximum working pressure.

Faster service. Better control. More confidence under pressure.

    FAQ

    Common Questions.

Grease is coming out of the relief port. Is the tool faulty?
No. That is the automatic pressure release working. When internal pressure rises above the safe level, grease is released at that port. Without this release, the pressure would build up in the hose and line instead.

The motor runs but no grease comes out. What should I check?
Check three things in order: air still trapped in the barrel (bleed it through the air release valve first), grease level too low for the tool to draw, and an empty barrel running dry.

    How do I load grease?
Two ways: bulk fill the barrel, or load a complete grease cartridge. In both cases pull the plunger rod back to the locking notch first so there is space to fill.

Why do I need to bleed the air after refilling?
Trapped air compresses instead of pushing grease. Bleed it through the front air release valve after every refill, otherwise the tool can run for tens of seconds with no grease output.

How much pressure does the DGG-103 produce?
Working pressure is 8,000-9,000 PSI, helping overcome resistance at stiff or high-resistance grease fittings without repeated manual pumping.

Is the hose rated for that pressure?
The supplied 76 cm hose is rated to 10,000 PSI, above the tool’s working pressure, giving a margin in normal use.

Are the coupler jaws and centre pin consumable parts?
Yes. The jaws, centre pin and coupler are wear parts. They are heat treated to HRC 40 for durability, but they still wear over time with use and should be cleaned and maintained. Wear is normal, not a quality defect.

How do I know the coupler is properly seated?
Push the coupler fully onto the grease fitting, then pull back to confirm it is locked. A partially seated coupler can feel locked when it is not.

What can it be used on?
Heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, construction equipment, motorcycles and marine applications — any bearing, joint or drive point that needs grease.

Is a cordless grease gun the same as a battery grease gun or an electric grease gun?
Yes. Cordless grease gun, battery grease gun and electric grease gun all describe the same type of tool. The DGG-103 is an 18V cordless grease gun, and the same tool is sometimes listed as an electric grease gun machine or a battery power grease gun.

Is the DGG-103 available as a kit with battery and charger?
The DGG-103 runs on the M7 18V Li-ion platform. Cordless grease gun kit packages — tool only, or with battery and charger — vary by market. Tell us your market in the quote form and we will confirm the 18V grease gun kit options available to you.

Is it a heavy duty grease gun?
It is built for daily professional maintenance work: 8,000-9,000 PSI working pressure, 255 g/min maximum output and a 10,000 PSI rated hose, for heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks and construction equipment.

How do I prime the grease gun for the first time?
Pull the plunger rod back to the locking notch, load the grease, then bleed the trapped air through the front air release valve before running the tool. Skipping the bleed is the most common reason a new grease gun appears not to work.

The plunger is not working or the gun will not pump. What now?
Check that the plunger rod is released from the locking notch after filling, that the barrel is not empty, and that air has been bled from the front valve. In most cases one of those three is the cause.

Does grease in a grease gun go bad?
Grease can separate or harden over long storage, and contaminated grease can block the coupler and the fitting. Keep the barrel capped, clean the coupler after use, and use grease within the supplier’s stated shelf life.

How does a cordless grease gun compare with a manual lever gun?
A lever gun depends on repeated hand effort for every stroke, so a long lubrication round is limited by the operator. A cordless grease gun drives the pump with a motor at a selected flow level, so output stays steady across the whole round.

    What cartridge does it take?
The DGG-103 accepts bulk fill or a standard screw-in grease cartridge. Pull the plunger rod back to the locking notch before loading either way.
